How do I look at the same point in both the volume and surface viewers?
It is easiest to go from surface point to volume point, but you can go the other way too if you are sure to click on a point near the main surface intersection on the volume slice.

In the surface viewer, click on a point, then choose the Tools->Save Point menu command or click on the Save Point button on the toolbar (it looks like a disk with a small crosshair in the corner). In the volume viewer, choose the Tools->Goto Saved Point menu command or click the Goto Saved Point button on the toolbar (looks like an opening folder with a crosshair in the corner).

The instructions for going from volume to surface are almost identical.
