FreeSurfer Faq-O-Matic : Installation :
How do I install the correct versions of tcl/tk for Fedora Core? | |
From Havard Dahle:
1. Ask your browser of choice to get these files from the [1]Tk/Tcl project: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/tcl/tcl-8.3.2-1.i386.rpm?download http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/tcl/tk-8.3.2-1.i386.rpm?download 2. Install them by issuing the following command (as root): # rpm -i {tcl,tk}-8.3.2-1.i386.rpm 3. At this point, I am a bit unsure whether or not the libraries are correctly named, but have a go at (still as root): # ldconfig And then try to run freesurfer the way you usually do.
[1]: These files are directly from the tcl development site at
tcl.sf.net.
