== Introduction ==

The NIH awared the FreeSurfer Maintenance (FSM) Grant (R01EB023281) to support the development of FreeSurfer. Part of this grant funded a data acquistion. This page provides links to the data as well as documentation about the data. The data contains "standard" T1w anatomical scans plus other modalities, including T2w, multiecho FLASH, MP2RAGE, and diffusion.

A tarball of the version 1 release can be found [[https://surfer.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/pub/data/fsm-release-v1.tar.gz|here]] can be downloaded (17GB). The tarball has 33 subjects. The data have been anonymized and defaced with MiDeFace.
