= Introduction =

Scuba is a visualizer for FreeSurfer data. It is intended to replace TkMedit and eventually Tksurfer. It currently supports the viewing and editing of different volume types, and volume intersection of surfaces. It is scriptable with Tcl commands and contains a live command shell.

This guide begins with a section on [[ScubaGuide/ScubaGeneralUsage|ScubaGeneralUsage]] that explains how to use Scuba to view anatomical data and gives an overview of the interface. The [[ScubaGuide/ScubaWorkingWithData|ScubaWorkingWithData]] section then covers each type of data that can be viewed and changed and how to use the tools relating to each.
