What is the latest version and where can I get it? |
| FreeSurfer is available as an official release and as a development snapshot. The last official release is from 2002 and is tested but lacks many new features. The development snapshot is not rigorously tested, but is the most current version we consider suitable for public usage. Internally, we use the development version, so we have no qualms about suggesting others do as well. However, you may discover bugs that we don't see in our daily usage.
