Some FreeSurfer programs can't seem to find files that I know are there.
Freeesurfer commands sometimes cannot take files without a pathname, i.e.:
mri_info ./file
works fine but not
mri_info file
when the file exists in the current directory.

Try prepending ./ to the filename in the current directory or give the exact pathname including its full path.
