Changes to recon-all

This is a copy of the e-mail sent out to freesurfer@nmr.mgh.harvard.edu and martinos-tech@yahoogroups.com on 01/26/2006.

To all local NMR-center users, the development version of recon-all will be changed Friday January 27th, 2006 in preparation for the new stable release of FreeSurfer, coming on February 1st, 2006. This message is to outline the significant changes to the script so that the switch may be as easy as possible. OLD RECON-ALL vs NEW RECON-ALL

recon-all -i </full/path/to/invol_1> -i </full/path/to/invol_2> -subjid subject_name

where invol_1 is the first dicom file of your first acquisition and invol_2 is the first dicom file of your second acquisition.

RE-RUNNING PREVIOUSLY PROCESSED DATA

From here on any data that has been previously processed, to any extent, by FreeSurfer will be referred to as a legacy data set.
