Synopsis

mris_flatten [options] <input patch> <output patch>

<input patch>	input patch
<output patch>	output patch

-w <# iterations>	write out the surface every # of iterations
-distances <nbhd size> <# of vertices at each distance>	specify size of neighborhood and number of vertices at each distance to be used in the optimization.
-complete	minimizes the complete distance distortion matrix (typically used for small patches, such as occipital patches)
